so while out getting new scripts yesterday, i stopped into my local Blockbuster. i went in just to kill a little time but walked out with two pvt* movies i needed. since they are in the proscess of switching from mostly videotapes too mostly dvd's, it is a good time for some rare, cheap purchases. once i started looking, i was hoping to find a copy of Leaving Las Vegas but found others i wanted just as much. to make it even funnier they are both newer View Askew/Kevin Smith products. I got Vulgar on VHS and An Evening with Kevin Smith on DVD for $9.99 each. Both of them were in new conditioon. This shocked me. I am used to anything i get at Blockbuster being very used. having the whole towns fingerprints on it. the box is always so beat up, you don't even want to put the tape in it. the sound and picture always screw up. it's about time i got something even halway descent from there. the main reason i buy them is because they are cheeper and they are different than the ones you buy at the store. if you can buy them they aveerage anywhere from $40-$80.

*pvt - previously viewed tape. this is their term, so it is what i use. that and it just makes sense. too bad i refer to dvd's and ganes as pvt's though.
