ok so i did the thing about ten things i have done that i think none of you have. well i liked doing that because it made me think and so i thought i would do it again and as i write this i am thinking it may or mayy not be ten more. maybe more maybe less. feel free to ask for further details. or call bullshit if you can match one.
1] drove a tractor trailer (loaded and empty)
2] kinda wrecked a tractor trailer. (not totaled but definately damaged the trailer)
3] had that same trailer kick my ass
4] had bill cosby on his knees in front of me
5] been thanked on the first screeching weasel album
6] stayed on the 13th floor that was actually marked as such of a hotel (talking to my sister about this she seems to think this one is not true so consider this one a maybe)
7] rode the made of the mist at niagra falls with out wearing the provided raincoat because i had to give it up for the sake of my camera.
8] gotten free time at kinkos in exchange for leaving them a copy of the original gta
9] swiped all of the fonts off of a couple of kinkos systems. (yes i do need 5000 fonts)
10] talked someone halfway across the country through rewriting tere win.ini file
11] been friends with a TS not to mention a couple of TVs.
12] been witness to drug deals. (not single user purchases. when it comes down to it i have probably seen more drugs than i ever should have for as little as i have done.)
13] been waken by music that was just too damn loud only to realize it was the violent femmes playing across the street.
14] talked to mark hosler and don joyce of negativland in nyc at two diferent locations and times. (don after the show at irving plaza mark at h2k2)
15] found out that david wills does not tour with negativland because he is obsessive compulsive. among other things.
ok so it ended up being 15. i never was good at math. might do this again at a later date. but i doubt it. if you have any questions about any of them feel free to ask. with the exception of number 11 i will answer just about anything you can come up with. i tried to explain where i thought there might be questions but i am about as smart as i am attractive. not at all.

how to draw a bunny - i caught this on the sundance channel the other night and i feel like an ass for not taping it. i really have to own this. it is a documentary on ray johnson. for the three of you who do not know who he is he is to mail art what john holmes is to porn. it was put togeher very nicely and not over artisically. they interview a pretty good cross section of his associates. i think one of the things that makes it really sweet is that it has the feel that it was done by someone who actually knew him rather than someone just out to make some money off his name.
harold & kumar go to white castle - being a big fan of white castle i so wanted to like this but it just did nothing for me. there are all kinds of bad editing fuck ups that if they are intentional are amusing and if they are not are just plane stupid. really it had so much potential that just wast met. bah!
elektra - i wathced this because i actually thought daredevil was a pretty good movie and i wanted to see how they tied it in. well they didnt. they tried tying it to x-men instead. well they should have tied it to a rock and sank the fucker. it suffers from catwoman syndrome...hot chick in tight outfits does not make a movie suck any less. this is one of the few comic book movies i have ever actually hated. shoot me now.
so i was curious and harassed the tripod people into telling me when my account was created. they said it was 2/19/2000 which actually seems late to me. i know i had one before then but that is still a pretty good time for a site to remain on a free host without getting cancelled because they start charging for it or for some abuse of tos policies. five frickin years.the reason i was looking at that site was because i am thinking about doing something and need a home for it.
in doing some research for this surprise thing i was using diffferent search engines. so this sent me in the direction of hotbot. before google came along hotbot was my search engine of choice because the inktomi's actual engine to it was better that what was available at the time. and i have always thought yahoo sucked for searches. so this is the part where i found out hotbot and inktomi are now both hotbot companies. bastards aol'ed the shit. and now it also seems that google has made it harder to search for filetypes. but i havent played with that enough to be sure.
the other day was my birthday and nobody noticed or gave me presents or wished me happy birthday :-(.
