in happier news i got a pos laptop from alice the camel that will serve all needed purposes. got the software on it that needs to be there last night. today is chrging batteries. tomarrow it shakes the hands of duct tape and spray paint. it is going to look worse than you might think. maybe i can find duckies and bunnies to stencil on it. or maybe fish stickers. either would be cool. yeah like anything i ever do could ever be anything remotely close to cool.
in collecting the software for it i realized that i have to make a mirror for one of the pieces of freeware i use a lot. it is a nice little text editor called nfodiz that has saved my ass on a number of occasions but is hard as hell to find. i can't even provide a link that i am certian would last more that a week. matter of fact i had to get it from a russian site. i do not speak the language.
all that aside it now means that i can work on my stories and books in longer more comfortable settings. that means more real reading instead of long ass polls that no one ever reads any way. it means i can work harder on my writng. it means that alice is thanked via package. a huge one.
