when i was in fourth grade i had a paper route. i delivered them after school except on saturdays when they were suppose to be delivered before the sun came up. well this one particular saturday i didn't feel like doing so my dad took me around to make sure it got done. with the two of us working on it we got done pretty quickly. after we fininshed he decided we were going to go to dunkin donuts. as we are pulling out of the parking lot i read the sign across the street. it was one of those cheeseball kinds with the removable letters. overnight someone had changed it to say we luv our cum. it kind of made sense so i asked my dad what cum was. he told me the same thing he had told to a lot of questions. that i would figure it out when i was older. ended up taking me two years to find out what it was. in the end, his response was not surprising since this was the same person whose idea of a sex talk was "you have to be careful where you stick your poo poo." seriously. and after i was already divorced from my first wife. whatever you say dad.

i want to revist the question feygrrlfeygrrl had asked some time ago, so here goes...

i guess it has always been there. i can remember as a a kid litening to the beatles sgt peppers album over and over. when i was maybe seven or eight one of my grandparents bought me a sun records 45 at a yard sale that was jerry lee lewis doing great balls of fire. i wanted it very bad and i still have it too. i basically grew up in an enviroment were there was a lot of music. my dad still has hours and hours of reel to reels. i don't ever remember being that hooked on kid music, unless you count that whole duran duran phase. i listened to what ever was on or around. i still do. i am not even one of these people who say 'i like everything except...' theor are a lot of artists that i don't care but then there are ones in so many genres that i can't say i don't like this or that. when i was a kid it was songs like elvira, delta dawn, and a hundred other things. lately i have been listening to a lot of country but really wanting to hear a lot of jazz and big band. if it's done right i can get into it. cripes i even like oops i did it again. well the words to it any way. i have pretty much always had music that i could say was mine. sure i have a lot of it now but there comes a point where you give up trying to find it only when you want to hear it. tghat is the reason that winamp, loaded with 12000 files, is almost always on shuffle. it is there for the comfort of noise. and if i really want to hear a particular song i can just pull it up. that quick. it is bassically just a smaller simpler better organized version of my real collection. you want to hear a particular style, it is probably there. need to get more calypso though. that is the way it has always been. iwas raised around it but i suffer it's power more than my sisters do. maybe because, too many times, it was all i had to get me by. eventually i am going to send out a cd that is basically the sound track to my life. some of those songs. those set to receive project hell/exhibit a will deffinately be getting that. it is a active part of the package. i hope that answers the question.
