empallinyes i am a big geek. it is for certain now. because i bought 2 by 2's and stamp fold? oh no those are easy to pass off. because i am doing restore work on a 1960s ring bound new cook book. no because from the sounds of it thats just stupid. no its because i was in my storage space looking for the schultz stash to pillage for stamps when i came across a box that had a copy of heavy metal and much more importantly a a copy of optic nerve. there was also a copy of capre noctum but thats a latter project. i kind of had mixed feeling of pissed off here. i was most pissed that they were unbagged. but i was also pissed that they were nowhere where they should have been. in a box marked magazines was just the start of the problem.
so i figure there is a comic book shop on the way home (strike one for knowing this) and they are open til 7 (XX) so i have plenty of time. so i should go there and get bags(XXX) since i have been out of bags for a while (X) and i should probably get a box since the other one is full (XX) and some of the books are double bagged. so i go in and head right for them (XXX) as the clerk is asking me if i need help. i tell him what i need and he asks if i want boards and current(X). i say words that amount to 100 current and 10 silver age (XX) since for the past two weeks i have been meaning to get bag for the five silver age sitting on my scanner (XXX). i pay get in the car an beg to be shot in the head for losing the whole game in one inning.
i think the one saving grace is that i didnt spend an hour and a half looking at books i would never buy.
did i mention that one of my rose transplants is still alive 6 months or so later and one of my rose seeds has come up. or that i found red sweet corn purple tomatoes and round carrots to plant this year. oh and huge ass pumpkins. i even have to geek out in the garden.
