empallinso what did i do in the past seven to ten days or so? in no particular order…
-got my entries for the zoo photo contest picked out edited printed mated labeled and submitted.
-and a nice long phone conversation with allis in which she directed me to the following weird scary amusing links...

-got a couple of packs of prototype camel cigarettes
-went to my shrinks and got related scripts
-got a broken chair taken apart and cut and drilled the wood that will be the arms. then gave the parts to my mother unassembled since she will have to put padding and covering over the wood first. but -then she gets to keep it.
-donated a doghouse to a no-kill shelter via dropping it off at the vets office
-mailed out packages twice. enjoy or something.
-paid a couple of medical bills.
-paid my storage bill.
-bought a new desk chair to replace that broken one because it kept breaking and i was fucking sick of dealing with it.
-cleared a back up in the sewage line that probably happened because the access hole had no cover on it. but was covered my mud leaves and sticks. and crap bubbling up. this was made worse by a bathroom faucet that had started leaking the day before. in the end i had the water off for about four hours. take it from me when shit happens on the scale it take priority over just about everything else. luckily i had disposable gloves and my big yellow boots*.i still have to pick up some of the stuff that i threw over the fence after i finished but i am kinda waiting to see it the problem reoccurs.
-bought a cap designed for just that type of thing and covered that damn hole
-bought a faucet to replace the one that was leaking since the part to repair it was $9 and a new one was $15 plus it was very old and corroded. and it would have died anyway.
-installed one of two shut off valves for the shower does not work at this point. since i had the water off anyway.
-removed a plane crash from a movie for a good friend.
-had a phone conversation with my younger sister saying she got the package i sent to her. luckily she didnt ask about the site i am supposed to do for her. its all in my head still so i have nothing to show for it buti also have not done one in a very long time.
-planted some more shade mix grass in the back yard.
-got a hideabed to the curb. by myself at three oclock in the mourning without waking up the neighborhood.
-swapped out a two prong outlet for a three prong in the kitchen. and since i had it apart replaced the cover plate as well due to the fact that the old one had been panted over several times. and that so bugs me.
-avoided doing the post that is the continuation of my life in a nutshell. which i am still avoiding right now.
-fixed the dsl/wifi problem a friend of my moms was having. a modem and a router with the same ip address will cause such headaches. and then when the modem is set to get a new ip address every ten minutes it only gets worse.
-fixed a broken fuel line on my moms car.
-also on my moms car i started pulling the oil pan to replace a blown gasket that is so leaking but had to stop about half way due to certain tools not being available. i was suppose to work on that more this evening (like i should be doing right now) with said tools available. but my back is still hurting from the first round. but more so i do not think it is really safe for me to leave the house right now.
-finished installing a ceiling fan that two other people had worked on over a period of several months but it still never got done. and i got tired of looking at it sitting there and i was bored and just really wanted a distraction from my mind.
seriously contemplated my own self destruction. i tried talking to my shrink about it when i was there but he cut me off as i was trying to organize my thoughts and so i figured i wouldnt push the issue. since it really wasnt worth the effort anyway. i was actually going to proceed as planned the night before but i didnt want to explain it all to the doc if i failed like have so many times before and had to take a urine test in which it would all show up. and the funny part (because there has to be one) is that i did get hit with a random urine test for the first time in two years. i got my ass chewed after the fact for not talking to anyone about it until after the fact. pretending anyone reads this far into all of this since i a intentionally burying it i will probably end up getting my ass chewed again.
made case wraps for the sceneit dvds that came in my cereal. and they look pretty good even.
-got photoshop tested after fixing the little font problem (a 13meg font can turn into a problem for a lot of things) and got some of the filters and such installed.
-worked on the shirt design i was requested to do for the two klingons that were at trek expo. holy fuckin fuck. the actors not people dressed as klingons.
-designed the case wraps for the dvd master of video i have recorded over the years. this way the will all be easily identifiable from other things since they will all have the same very specific design. and if i see anyone touching any of them i can start screaming right away.
-got the yard mowed. it only needed it because i have been watering because of the new grass seeds planted.
-got a car load of stuff donated from mikeys house.
-got measurements done for several boards that need cut and some painted for various projects.
-stole a time magazine from the waiting room for my shrink because it had a url i wanted to look at. that url being http://www.time.com/time/2006/egypt/. i found it interesting though i havent finished exploring it. (insert your own joke here about exploring egypt tombs and some such). ok i didnt actually steal it i asked if i could take it first. yes they said i could.
-did a load of dishes. and there are so many more to do.
-ordered a fishing pole zagats directory and an eye toy with my coke rewards.
-cleaned a little around the house but i just couldnt get into the right mood
-did several loads of laundry. dammit someday i am going to get it all done.
-watched part of the documentary on burlesque called pretty things that hbo is currently running.
-ordered my free passes for how to eat fried worms.
-pulled nails out of a couple of boards that i am going to use.
-disassemble a couple of makes old computers. i have to burn the hdds to cd or dvd depending on size. and i get the tape drive and the 5 ¼ drive to put into trixie. and the power supply out of one. one of them even had a cyrix chip in it. maybe that can go into trixie as well. only if it is duct taped to the case or something.
so yeah i really didnt get that much done well not a lot that was on the full to do list. sorry if anything got repeated but i am not going back over that.
and since you might be wondering what is on my to do list i run down the short list. keep that in mind. also keep in mind i end up doing a lot of things that arent on my list just to avoid certain things that are because i am not in the mood to do them.. it is as i wrote it so some of it may not make sense and it is in no order really but as they are written on my list…
