reason #1, 014 why medicated dreams suck...
i was walking through all of these small towns in jersey trying to find this group i was suppose to meet up with. i give up and walk into this really run down convience store to ask if they have seen any of the group. and to get something to drink. as i come outside i run into several of the group. they tell me the bus is park about a block over. that's what i get for giving up so soon. one of them is starting to tell me something else when i see a smoke and damaged buildings over his shoulder. then i start being annoyed. "son of a bitch! i told you it was going to happen again." then they start in "oh shit!" "everybody on the bus now" but you know nobody moved. everybody sat there and watched as the buildings started falling like dominos. as i recall it was due to a carefully set collection of bombs. these would have been further uptown than the last ones that fell down. about in the area of the empire state building. the only buildings i remember are the cadillac building (chrysler building in reality) and a massive church.
the next one was not as bad but...
i was talking to this girl about a series of shootings that had been happening a few blocks away. i was back in school, but going to MU this time. i had seen this girl before but did not know her well enough to be talking to her. then she started going off about how she knew who was doing the shootings. i basically blew her off and told her i just ready to get back to school. it was about this time that
mama2jude and her business partner show up to pick me up. as it turns out they both know this girl but neither of them seem too found of her. so we head off to their corporate headquaters (business must have really picked up) but first we had to stop by their warehouse so they could inspect some new product. as we are walking through the warehouse, i am hitting them with some of the worst jokes i know. the only two i remember are...
q: how many goths does it take to change a light bulb?
a: none they just sit in the corner and bitch about life.
and...
q: what is the difference between a speed bump and a priest?
a: you don't back up to run over a speed bump a second time.
and thankfully that is about where that ended.
