empallinso i have been thinking about this whole karaoke thing. yes, i sing about how i look...like shit. but i figure i can win with style where others go for quality. so after a lot of thought i have decided to focus on five songs that are damn near impossible to pull off by only halfway knowing the songs. and i have even been practicing. only because i would half to if i wanted to get any of them right. the problem is that very few clubs have all of the songs and some don't have any of them. oh damn.
rem - it's the end of the world as we know it
digital underground - the humpty dance
billy joel - we didn't start the fire
bob dylan - subterranean homesick blues
run dmc - its tricky
i may add more to this list i may just say fucit! as i am prone to doing.
on another note...
i have been making mental notes for my list of brushes with fame. the more i think about it the more it sounds like complete bullshit if i just post this long list of people i have met. so i am thinking i am going to instead do the the list with situations of how i met said people. it will help me remember some of the otherss this way. or so i seem to think. i mean how can i say how much of a prick bill cosby was without mentioning how nice it was to have him on his knees in front of me. ok so it was because he couldn't figure out how to check his voice mail but that is not the point. and how can i mention meeting "m" again and thinking it would be too late to call soandso. and mistakingly thinking she would not be that interested in the first place. of course the bad part is that i know there are several people that i will forget. and some that i don't even know. and part of me think i should not include certian situations such as cons but then part of me thinks i should make it a complete as possible list. and then it goes back to sounding like complete bullshit. dammit!
