"I made myself a promise When I was big enough to run That I'd never stay a single day In that Oklahoma sun"-Johnny Cash. Got some stuff that I forgot. Sometime in the last month down, I realized that I was really going to need an address. I couldn't get a post office box for there to there so at AEPB's recomindation I set up a box at Mail Boxes Etc.This actually involved some effort but I got it done. I called the number that I had been given, but was told that I needed to fill out the particular frachises apllication. So Mike and I tooled over to a MBE on N. May and got the ball rolling. The Chestnut Hill MBE had already faxed the application to the OKC MBE. I had to go in and fill it out than get it faxed back to Chestnut Hill. Keep in mind I had no idea where Chestnut Hill was, or where it was in relation to where I was going to end up living. Since I ended up in Sommerville, it turned out to not be the best answer but it was all I had to work with at the time. So I got the application done and then called to verify that they had received it. They had and gave me a box number that was mine as long as I got payment to them within two weeks. I sent the payment out but another employee not aware of this whole situation ended up giving my box to someone else before my payment got there. The manager called to tell me this and to let me know any mail sent to that box for me would be put in my new box number. It better be because I have already started canceling services and having deposits sent to that box. And for those paying close attention they will realize my known address is still at an MBE. Not the best answer but it ends up being better than the USPS.

Some of the account closing ened up being kinda fun. When I closed out my ONG account I sold my stocks as well. I had the stocks because they had a deal where you could pay so much extra on your bill and it would be applied towards stocks. Easy enough. Very similar to an employee stock puchase plan. Well when I got the check from them I was down to a matter of says and already closed my bank account. I eneded up having to go to the bank where the acoount was held to cash it. It was not a lot of money - less than $200 - but it would be needed. So i went through all the hassles of cashing a check without an account. "Anyone that attempted to remove me out the race Best give me space before I fly in they fuckin face"-Slick. You know banks hate this. ONG also sent a thank you letter and letter of recomendation. It basically said said that my payments were always on time, if not early and that they owed me money because I always over paid in case something ever happened. Just in case. My how things have changed. Closing my bank account was on the screwed side. Ever thing went smooth at hte time but I was still receiving account statements from them 2 years later. Take some of that money and buy a fucking clue.

The last closing was the POBox. I had that box for a while and was sad to see it go. The lobby at that post office was open 24 hours and they had this package drop that was big enough for a person to be sent through. This was before the Flight 800 bullshit. Thus before the 16 ounces rule. In the final weeks I would check the mail every other day and ship a package to myself. Actually, no, I was sending them to AEPB and/or Kixxie. The best one was a box of kitchen untisels.Clink! Clink! Clink! It made a very cool sound. Almost everything I sent made it. Almost everything. The one thing that did not make it was my leather jacket. practically new. So if you have seen a black leather jacket with a house and "give up" painted on the back please let ne know.
i don't expect it back, I would just like to know what happened to it. The reason it never arrived was because I addressed it wrong. "I've got no one to blame but my fat self"-They Might Be Giants. In the final days I packed up the stereo and sent that off. Six boxes of electronics. When AEPB and I went to pick them up it looked like the prick bastards had played football with my turntable. I wish I could have mailed my records as well but I just don't trust them in anyone elses hands. "If I'm gonna die with a needle in my eye I'm gonna do it by my own hand"-Geraldine Fibbers.

Now that should bring it up to date a little better. Maybe.
