so i have been going through my stuff on a search for my game systems and have not been having much sucess. so i figure i should do an inventory of what i have come across versus what i should actually have. if you feel like being nice to me you could always donate your old system. as you read this keep in mind that i am not a serious gamer type but i hate most pc games and the way they play. i have tried to like them but it is not the same. a computer is for doing stuff and a game is for games. i like it that way. dammit.
atari 2600 - status: missing. i bought this at a flea market to replace the one i got rid of when i left okc in 95. this should not be too hard to replace. it will be annoying trying to replace the games i had and even worse finding ones that work.
atari jaguar - status: unknown. bought this one from a pawn shop on western not to long before i left okc. i think i saw this one amoungst my stuff but i am not sure. i know i asked about games at game exchange which makes me think i had seen it recently.
nintendo gameboy - status: missing. got this as a gift but have not seen it since i was in PA.
nintendo gameboy advance sp - status: located. got this one handed to me fairly recently. only have two carts for it that i got for xmess and a carrying case. one of the carts is the nameco museum which has galaga and pole position on it. that is a whole lot of quaters saved right there.
sega genesis type 1 - status: located. this was given to me along with a bunch of sports games that will never get played as well as some other misc goods. this is hooked up and running with only a handful of games for it that i will play. i have klax, sonic spinball, polterguy, and micheal jacksons moonwalker. don't even have the original sonic. mostly just a bunch of sports games.
sega genesis type 2 - status: missing. i don't even remember where i got this. it was that long ago. wherever this went is where all the games i actually played went. i want to find this because i really want to play toe jam and earl again. sure i could emulate to no end but i wanna play it with a real controller. all of my sonic games are there. all the games my older sister gave me are there. that box is hours of fun waiting to happen. too bad i don't think i will ever see it again.
sega genesis 32x - status: located. this came with the type 1 system and some sports games. never tried to use it even. i believe it is actually broken.
sony playstaion - status: missing. i bought this new at wally world after the price dropped below $100. didn't have amny games but i had just gotten into playing it before the shit hit the fan in PA. there i found a couple of games and the memory cards but everything else seems to be gone as far as i can tell.

working mothers
for you mother of one
managing your only son
a new kind of mother
but still time for another
for you mother of two
figuring out what to do
managing on your own
forced to go it alone
for you mother of three
busy as can be
fixng it as it breaks
balancing the gives and takes
for you mother of four
is that you at the door?
never to be found
but i have seen you around
for you mother of five
suround by little lives
the closest of them all
still standing so tall
