stupid ebay people piss me off. they are trying to sound like they know what they are doing but repeatedly use the phrase "as is where is". and they are wrong on two points. the first is minor and i am not one to be commenting on it but i am going to anyway. its "as is, where is" or with a period if you prefer. it would mean the same thing either way but it would acually mean something. more importantly is that the term they are so incorrectly using means that the buyer gets it from where it sits. no packaging no shipping no anything unless the buyer does it. yes there a few for pick up only items that do actually use this correctly. and in real estate it has slightly different meaning but thats there. it the realm that is most ebay auctions the term is used so incorrectly that it hurts my head. and i seem to recall knowing a thing or two about things being sold as is. or selling them. or something like that. still feh most of these people would probably not survive real world autions. dumb bastids.

sort of related one of my fair entries is a patch collection and i doing some general research on one of them and came across another one as listed on ebay. $200+ was the sold price. insert stutter blink. yes that is correct that you did not see $2. and the one i have is in better condition. but wait i paid money for this. fifty cents. so i shall consider it in safe keeping for right now. yes i am the dumb bastid this go round. never did find the one i was trying to find out about though. still dumb.
