not fair

biting my tongue until it bleeds
doesnt seem to help
to keep me from saying
what i feel i must
pacing back and forth
doesnt seem to help
to keep from going
where i feel i must
closing my eyes into the darkness
doesnt seem to help
to keep from seeing everything
and someone i must
the piece and quite of having
a cigarette just makes it worse
and better at the same time
