i have this edgar cayce paper back that got messed up and i keep thinking that i will have a dream and tell somewhere else where i can find another cheap copy in such good condition as that one was. it really was an odd thing. i dropped it and it hit the floor right on the spine and just split down the middle. i am sure the spine was already weaken from previous reads (none by me - thats why i was grabbing it in the first place) but this implies extended improper storage that would mean the whole thing is more brittle than thought. just like the psyche.

anyone have a good idea on how to convert a brownie camera to digital without removing the lens etc and with as little modification as possible? i am going to have to do some serious playing to figure this one out. i think in the end i will have to pull the lens etc but use the internals from one of the cheap digitals that does not have the view screen. and cut a whole for the usb plug to limit the chance of shock and damage to unprotected parts. no worries because these are a dime a dozen and i have a box of them so i have room to work. then after i get done i will convert my old vivitar to a huge pile of crap. oh wait vivitar did that in manufacture.

someday i will get a roll top desk so i can do the laptop conversion on that. not soon but hopefully before the market pops back on them.
