china all the way to new york i can feel the distance getting close

for years i have been searching for the ideal dish pattern. i never really knew that is what i was actually looking for or that i would know it when i saw it but these facts are truth. i bought a plate at a thrift store and it now serves as my reminder to acquire a full 12 piece place setting. i have to get 12 because i am a big stupid clumsy oaf*. so the pattern is cathay as made by taylor smith taylor. and went out of production years ago. hello piece fillers and ebay. oh and it looks like this...


* i know this is redundent but it matches. for years i have described myself as mutlitarded and the definition of that is doing something stupid even though you are fully aware of how stupid it is. its my word and my definition. and my life.
