so as i have mentioned i have been going through boxes sorting stuff. and getting rid of stuff. packages galore ready to go out. hey maggie email me at [same userid] at yahoo if you want the one i owe you still. same for miss jeanette. and well anyone else. if you have no idea wtf i am talking about you can ask and i can try to explain it.
anyway i have found some things of interest that i will not be ditching. like my special all flyer. ok this i knew where it was but needed to check condition and noticed something funny about it. it a previous real world conversation i mentioned that it has sabrinas autograph. this was when i was educated on the fact that she is better known as shreen and the things related to that. but the part that was of new note is that this flyer is signed by her bill scott and karl. correct. it is not signed by stephen. probably because he was sleeping prior to the show when i got it signed and thus i never really got a chance to talk to him. its ok because he has since signed two of my all cds.
related i was doing a page by page sort of another box and came across an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet with a drawing of a running clock signed by karl alvarez. i have no recollection of obtaining this but had to have been gotten at the same time. the box that it was in was one of several boxes of old zine stuff but should have actually been with the flyer. the real point is that it proved why i am having to do page by page sorting. on this box there was a lot of stuff that went out but that is why the whole box did not go out.
in that same box there where multiple original images by c evans as well. though that means almost nothing to a good chunk of you some of you understand first how i got them and second why it matters to me. they have what you call value. not to mention i always liked his style. even if he is a goon.
in a seperate location was a stapled stack of papers that were used as instuctions for one of the flaming lips boom box shows. not sure where this came from either since i was never at one of those shows. now the part missing from this puzzle is the sheet of autographs from the nates show/interview. i have not seen that in a while but should be signed by wayne mike and richard. this too proves another point. why i have to sort through and get rid of stuff. i cannot find the things that really need to be found.
oddly but not surprising in the box of old zine mail i came across a packet of mixed flower seeds for the 1994 growing season. these would have come from one of two places. the either originated from sarah q fabbri of oregon or from mama2jude of massotwoshits. i am leaning more toward the latter. mostly beacause of the date. i pulled those from the box and went ahead and planted them. honestly because of storage and tempature variations i dont expect them to produce but ill know in a few weeks if they are doing anything.
