i meant to post this a little while back but i am running way behind schedule on my
recently i have received a request to write some stuff for a webzine thing. now the question is should i do it or not? its not like i have any kind of experience with that sort of thing or any thing. ok since it is a request i cant really stand to say no to the real question becomes will i get anthing done in a timely manner? well i can at least try. it is an open offer which means i get to choose the subject matter be it fact or fiction but i have no idea on what to write about. maybe ill just write about crappy people and their crappy bands. nahhh i would never be that mean.
which reminds me i saw a victory records ad on tv the other night. you see when i was doing zines we used to run ads for them. now they are all over several publications sold at hot topic as well as just about everywhere else. between that the lips and a few other things it would not have been hard for me to be a part of this wave of terror. but i got all pissed off and quit doing it. then there was the fact that i started losing my marbles about the time thing started to roll a little bit. i always drop out right before the big break. it has happened several times and at this point i just accept it. back to victory...we stopped getting stuff from them because they sent this record for review that i felt should never have been made. it sucked soooo bad. and that is exactly what i put in the review. hey it is my zine and that is why they are called reviews. i refused to dance around the issue and then have some one actually by that crap instead of something good. just because you give it to me to review does not mean i am going to play the game. and he that was my assistant co editor thing at one time was the same way. just smarter and better with words. and cuter too hot pants. that is not to say all of their stuff sucked at the time. just that that particular one sucked worse than a five dollar hooker. and that was that working relationship.
if i could get some help on this one i would appreciate it...i purchased a copy of the smiths - the world wont listen from an amazon user and i as suspecting that what i got is actually a pirated copy. and i want to fire my cannons at that ship if it is. selling pirated cds ranks right down there with junkie fuckfaces {you know politicians] in my book. so if you could scan the inlay and cd so that i can compare. the inlay at the very least. if its legit fine but the quality is about as bad as an american idol marathon. thanks.
hey you! yeah you! could you please let me know if you receive your usps mail from me? please? tanks
