While perusing your typo-wrought live journal this morning, I thought you might like to know that 2 members of the Weathermen were arrested here a couple of years ago. I think it was soon after we moved up here. They were a couple wanted for bombings, maybe. I also think they were teachers at Loyola University, under assumed names, of course. Apparently Apparently colleges do background checks like you do spell checks.

Here's something that just happened. I was asked by the good folks at 103.1 FM here in Los Angeles CA if I would like to host a couple of hours. I said I was interested but in order to do it, I would have to be able to bring my own music and talk about anything I wanted to. They told me that's what they had in mind and so I said yes. This is the only station you can turn on and hear the Buzzcocks twice in an hour. This is my kind of station. Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols is one of the hosts. It's pretty damn cool.
They told me I could have Mondays 7-9pm starting on June 7th and I thought that was fine but told them I didn't want to wait so they said how about trying it out this coming Monday, the 17th of May. I told them I would be there early.
If I am not dropped and allowed to be a weekly occurrence, I will be doing the following: I will be talking about current events, recounting stories, as I am wont to do, and playing some really great music from all genres. If you find yourself so inclined, you might want to tape some of this as I will be playing rare and alternative tracks, a lot of which have never been put onto CD until I transferred them myself. I will also be bringing in some interesting people to guest along with me from time to time. I am hoping to make the show ultimate and totally cool. I am already making playlists in my head. I can't wait.

drubloodblog to your friends list. this is the feed from that crazy zine lady lainie's blog. she is always good for stuff to anger and amuse.2) find a copy of the may 21th (or some where in there) issue of entertainment weekly. there is an interview with that one guy from the smiths in there. this will probably mean a trip to the librbary or something because i really doubt that issue is still on the stands.
while looking over the cult news network website i came across a very amusing article about what happens to people who dont pay attention when they get tattoos and i know you just want the highlights...
For some reason, it turns out, Britney thought the combination of these letters means "new beginning" in Hebrew, but it actually means "protection". Moreover, tattoos are forbidden under Jewish law.
She has been left red-faced once before when she had a Japanese word scratched on to her hip bone. That tattoo was supposed to mean "mysterious" but in fact turned out to mean "strange".
However, Britney still continues to decorate herself. She also has a butterfly script on her toe which she believes says "freedom" and another on her foot - a flower circling her second toe - that she now thinks is ugly. She was quoted as saying, "I'd like to get rid of it because it doesn't look the way I'd hoped it would. It's a blob."
...yes its true. britney spears really is an idiot. now for the worst part...
...it was reported in February that she went under the needle in a very personal place.
