caught up in circles confusion is nothing new

Boat Trip - this had the potential to be a funny movie. two guys accidently end up on a gay cruise. not an orgininal plot but still funny if played right. the problem is that it wasn't. sure there was the somewhat graphic part were the guy tells roger moore that the least he could have done was kiss him first. but then you have the part were the swedish sun tanning team is doing topless jumping jacks. and then there are the three sets of boobs that are staring back at you while you are looking at the menu screen. the fucking menu screen. the first fucking thing you see. this had to be done so that homophobic boyfriends/husbands would actually sit through it. there is no other reason for it. don't get me wrong, i love boobs as much as the next guy (or girl in some cases) but sometimes they just get in the way. if i hadn't been so annoyed i would have actually enjoyed this for it's comedic value. dammit, i hate when they ruin a good movie by trying to hard to go out the easy way.

Freedom Downtime - this is an independent documentry made by 2600, inc on the story of kevin mitnick's arrest and the facts, and lack thereof, surrounding it. the dvd will eventually come out someday. this is loaded with information and sarcasm. there are some moments that are hilarious and then others that are so frieghtening that kind of wish you had never sen them. but glad you did. this is narrated by emmanuel goldstein the host of the wbia's off the hook...and also one of the radio caller voices on grand theft auto vice city. and if you look close enough you might be able to find me on the cover box or the seconds that i am in the film. just don't look that hard, i am not worth that kind of effort. kind of on the long side but worth the watch.
