so i figured that since I don't hace anything to do for the holiday and i can't drink wine without a corkscrew, I would work on the website. so i actually found a new counter through Bravenet. it's not the best answer but it works. funny thing is i was looking at the demo and decided to log in. i didn't even know i had an account there, but all of the information was correct. I love when that happens. now i have to change the code on the whole thing. I think I got about a fourth of them done. what a pain in the ass.
I went ahead and put the faq up. it will be added to eventually but i really think those questions cover the most popular ones. if you have any more that you think i should avoid answering, go ahead and pass them on to me. i know i still have to add about the skulls, for those who cannot figure it out. you can view that at...

While i was at it i took the time to finish up the skincage fan club page. i really want to get an mp3 or two up on that. needs to have some more useful information on it but it still looks good enough to go. too bad it only took me a year to get it put together. you can get that at...

i also got a lot of very sloppy code cleaned up. anctually made the freak wavs look a whole lot prettier. and it was on of the first pages to get the points boost. i have have several people complain about the text being too small so i bumped it up some. now maybe the blind bats will get off my back. well that and i will be able to read it as well. that particular page actually looks pretty damn good as html. too bad that it is a page no one ever looks at.
i did an up date to the weak links page but didn't upload it because it doesn't have the new counter or link bar on it yet. the friends link page will get it as soon as i find the link to yodie's page. the top drawing pages (freegov, h2k2, and my sister) will not get it until i am satisfied that it is running smoothe. kix will get it after i get the latest mail call submission scanned, tweeked and layed out. that's going to be a mess anyway. gotta do a whole lot of link checking when i get to that.
in other news...i don't have to go to work. i have over stayed my light duty welcome. so now i am being sent to full comp. this will help money matters because i will still be getting 80% of my pay, it will not be taxed. that is a good thing. the bad thing is that it still fucking hurts. i am really now happy about this whole mess. there are people that fake this stuf to get out of working. it's going to drive me nuts. and if i go i will be taking all of you with me. take my life. please. i don't know how long this will last but it will definaetly be too long (more than a week). maybe i'll actually get the house clean. hopefully. i wonder how it's going to affect everything else.
one of the projects i hat i have decided to tackle is getting my cd's in order. anyone want to help? they have to maked, cataloged, encoded, and alphabetized. it will be loads of fun. mike and I were talking about it and came up with a rough estimate on the numbers. 44x2x12. but that is a ver rough number and i need to know exact numbers.i am not bragging here (or not meaning to). i am just trying to give an idea of what i am getting into. just remember this, they are mostly all crap no one except me would ever want. jewel cases will need be replaced. that and the marking are the closest things to actual work on this. the cataloging and encoding are mostly automated (as long as gracenote recognizes them) but it is going to double the time since it is done in two diferent applications. ok this is a crappy job. and too make it worse...like i would really let anybody else near my collection. if you want it done right - and you're really anal and paranoid - you've got to do it yourself. hey i'm on drugs and i've got the time. no problem.
