what's in the bag?

One of the things I got in the mail yesterday was my back pack. can you say backpack? for those who do not know most JanSport backpacks are covered by a lifetime warranty although they are now trying to chang that to 20 years. so mine had to off for service. the strings around the main zipper were repeatedly fraying and that kept jamming the zipper. that in turn caused stuff to fall out because the zipper would just come undone midstream. and for those who do not know, my backpack is my life. and if i have to check it i am probably not staying at that store very long. unfortunately with my back screwed up i have to limit what is in it, so it does not way that much. basically there is nothing in it. plus the fact that i have been using one that is not my bag as it was out of my posession. so i get it back and there is a note with it...

i am guessing that they put that on there because i didn't strip it down before i sent it. last time i sent it in for this same exact problem i pulled everything off of and kept it all ina baggie while i awaited it's return. this time i decided to send it as is and see what they would do with it. 'fuck them. i am not taking all this shit off again.' i knew this would be interesting since there is stuff attached to all of the zipper pulls and i knew they were going to have to replace a zipper. i did not expect that stuff to be returned, attached to there note. with care and in a baggie even. i know they had to cut the zipper pull to get the lock off. no, they were not loccked together. attached to that lock was a noose piece from the board game Clue. and it was returned an in tact. i am still stunned. the part that gets me is that they replaced all of the string ties on all of the zipper pulls. those will come off again and be sent to someone. anyone want them? they look so stupid on this one. you would think they would take the clue that since they were not on there i did not want them on there. or something. anyway i have it back and it is still empty. for now. mostly because i have not felt like moving everything over. someday when thing are back to normal i will do a full inventory of what all is in it.



another cool little item i received was 2 cd copies of "The Wonder Of Christmas" form Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. so you understand, i am not a religious person but i collect religious ephemera. choose you religion, if you must, and keep it to yourself. this is mostly special because they normally limit this tuff to one per name and address and i got two. it will be nice to get drunk to on xmess.
